The Blessing of the Animals at Pink and Green Weekend

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard will have it’s Annual Blessing of the Animals, Saturday, May 11th at 1:00 pm at the Mini Park on Main Street in Edgartown. The Blessing will be a part of Edgartown’s Pink and Green Weekend.

Father Michael Nagle of the Good Shepherd Parish will again perform the Blessing of the Animals Service. This will be Fr Nagle’s 7th year conducting this service

All pets will be provided with water and special treats. Ribbons will be given to all participating pets.

This is a free event.

In addition, the Black Dog will be offering a very special Black Dog gift to everyone who makes a donation to the Animal Shelter that day.

Anyone who donates $10 to ASMV at the Black Dog, Main Street, Edgartown store will receive a pink or green mug!
